The BARTS program is a joint training effort under the auspicies of
RJS Hospitality Solutions and
Sunburst Hospitality, our parent company.
The BARTS program consists of 5 to 10 calls per month, which
may or
may not be completed reservation calls. The program places an emphasis on both
TEAM performance and
INDIVIDUAL consistency, with bonus programs being awarded for both.
TEAM bonus: If the hotel front desk staff achieves perfect BARTS calls throughout a calendar month, the entire desk staff will receive a
$100.00 bonus, above and beyond individual bonuses.
INDIVIDUAL bonus: Individual bonuses are based on consistency in achieving perfect BARTS calls, and is not limited to a calender month. The initial bonus for a perfect call is $20.00, and increases by $10.00 with each perfect call. The more perfect calls you string together, the larger the bonus for each call, up to $50.00. IF YOU MISS ACHIEVING A PERFECT CALL, however, the bonus for the next perfect call drops back down to the $20.00 level, and the increases start anew...
An example of this is as follows:
At the time that this topic was written, Bart Starr achieved two perfect calls in the month of September '08. He received a $20.00 bonus for the first call and a $30.00 bonus for the second call.
The next potential call would occur in the month of October '08. If yet another perfect call is achieved, he will receoive a $30.00 bonus, a $40.00 bonus for the perfect call after that, and a $50.00 bonus for the perfect call after that one. As long as Bart Starr continues to receive perfect calls, he will receive a $50.00 bonus for each call.
If a perfect call is NOT achieved, the next perfect call would be worth only $20.00.
