Coffeenole has to pay DOLLARS to keep this website active. My way of thinking, if members don't want to post on the threads why should he keep this site active?
There's nothing wrong with what you said; in fact, there's a lot of truth in it. I miss people like RHWD40, Loree, Kenny, Outafocus, and even Tiger Rose. When I opened the new site, I lifted all bans, which I probably shouldn't have placed to begin with. (I wish that TR was back, but I know she hates my guts and she has a good gig going at Our Hangout.)
While the statement about the "members from another" site in another post may be an opinion, it could well be that the original members felt that they got lost in the shuffle, and I didn't care about them anymore, which is the furtherest thing from the truth. Even as I welcomed (and still welcome) the newcomers, I still appreciate those who have been from the beginning and the ones who are here now. At this point, the older members are not here, the newer members have fractured into other sites (albeit ones that we do have a connection to), and there's not much activity in
any of the forums.
I've tried to do my best here, but it was and is still a learning process for me, and the fact that my free time is now very limited is not helping much.
The financial aspect is not a real issue...domains are really inexpensive due to the economy...but there is a lot of time involved in trying to get things right. There are times that I think I've failed miserably in that regard, but as long as there's even one person that thinks this site is worth going to, I'll do my best to keep it going.
